This is a health drink made from fermented mushrooms. An acquired taste. I like the GT Dave's variety because thos einclude the B vitamins, while the other Kombucha on the market don't seem to have B vitamins.
Not cheap - over $3. per bottle, so I drink a half bottle a day.
All sorts of purported health benefits, even supposed to fight off cancer, but in any case it is probiotic and to me, tastes good. I like the original one without the added fruit tastes.
Nowday's GT Dave offers two varieties, the original (black label across the top), which has a high enough alcohol content to require an ID to purchase! and the Enlightened where the alcohol content is kept under the legal minimum. I buy the Enlightened.
